Joining Spoke Mathambo whose version of "Control" has been performed on Africa Express having picked up  huge popularity on Youtube over the past eighteen months, Hooky was also joined by Jack Steadman of Bombay Bicycle Club.

Other artists on the Africa Express, a chartered train which is criss crossing the UK performing pop up gigs, concerts and special appearances on almost an hourly basis, include Yeah Yeah Yeahs' Nick Zinner, Amadou & Mariam, Super Furry Animals' Gruff Rhys, Giles Peterson, Maxïmo Park, Carl Barat, Rizzle Kicks and The Temper Trap.

As the Africa Express train rolled into London for its finale it appears Hooky was in good company as the special guests on the evening included Sir Paul McCartney, Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones, Kano and Bashy.
